PRESIDENT’S CORNER SEPTEMBER ‘17
Dear friends,
At this time of great unrest in the world -- threats of nuclear war and natural disasters -- Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, Co-Founder of WFWP International, invited international leaders, a large delegation of interfaith clergy from the United States, and heads of the affiliated organizations to commemorate and honor her husband's day of passing (September 2) in Seoul, Korea.
Dr. Moon also took the opportunity to challenge all the participants to increase their sincere efforts for peace, and become shining lights in a dark world -- lights that will turn the tide for the better.
It is indeed lasting peace that she and her late husband, Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon, have dedicated their entire lives to, and one could see from the various reports that good progress is being made in several parts of the world.
We would like to take this moment to truly honor and thank our WFWP Co-Founders for their exemplary work, investment, passion, sacrifice, and love that continue to inspire us and propel us forward -- also WFWP USA!
During the more than one week of intercultural conferences, meetings, programs, and a celebration of marriage, WFWP International also convened a leaders conference entitled "WFWP International Strategies Moving Toward Vision 2020" in Seoul, under the leadership of international WFWP President Yeon Ah Moon.

This month, as we know, the United Nations commemorates International Peace Day around the world, to heighten the awareness and necessity for collaborative peace efforts in order to prevent a worldwide disaster. WFWP USA will also be engaged in various International Peace Day programs around the country (see calendar below), and we hope that each person will make their own efforts right in their home community and immediate sphere of influence, because each person CAN make a difference, and indeed PEACE does start WITH ME.
