Dr. Suzy Ismail
Dr. Suzy Ismail is the Founding Director of Cornerstone, a global nonprofit dedicated to faith-based communication intervention, focusing on youth, family, marriage, identity, and relationship rebuilding. She is the author of several books, including Modern Muslim Marriage, 9 to 5, and When Muslim Marriage Fails.
A former Visiting Professor at Rutgers and DeVry University, Dr. Ismail has extensively researched and presented on the intersection of education, faith, communication, and culture. She empowers women, youth, and vulnerable communities through workshops, lectures, and corporate training worldwide.
Her work has been featured in numerous media outlets, talk shows, and international conferences, including the World Meeting of Families during Pope Francis' U.S. visit. She has also worked with refugee families at the Syrian border and continues supporting resettlement and relief efforts.
Dr. Ismail has served on multiple nonprofit boards and received numerous accolades, including the Ambassador for Peace Award and Visionary Muslim Award. She holds a Master of Arts in Communication, a Master of Philosophy in Human Services, and a PhD in Human Services with a focus on Family Studies & Intervention Strategies.
