Rashida Cartwright
Rashidah Cartwright, Ed.M, LCADC, CCS, is a dedicated advocate, mental health and substance use disorder professional, and award-winning podcast host committed to empowering individuals and families navigating autism, mental health, and substance use challenges.
She is the creator and host of the Webby-nominated podcast, Autism for Badass Moms, which won the 2024 Signal Award for Most Inspirational Podcast. Through her podcast, she shines a light on the emotional journey and unwavering love of autism moms, fostering a supportive community for parents raising children with autism.
Ms. Cartwright earned her Master of Education degree in counseling psychology from Rutgers University. A Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) since 2011, she is also a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) with over 18 years of experience providing mental health and substance use services across hospitals, day programs, outpatient services, non-profits, and community-based programs.
Since 2016, she has been with CPC Integrated Health in Monmouth County, NJ, where she currently serves as Senior Program Manager in Behavioral Health Crisis Services. In this role, she is deeply committed to ensuring vulnerable individuals receive compassionate, effective care.
Beyond her clinical work, Rashidah is a sought-after public speaker, frequently appearing on podcasts and panels to educate and inspire others on resilience, personal growth, and breaking down barriers in mental health and autism advocacy.
