HONORING AND CELEBRATING A MONUMENTAL CONTRIBUTION FOR PEACE!
Happy Birthday to beloved Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon and Happy Centenary to esteemed Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon, co-founders of the Women’s Federation for World Peace International!
This new year 2020 in so many ways is a banner year, certainly for our co-founders and champions for global peace, who were both born on the same day, and whose milestone 77th and 100th birthdays we celebrate this year on February 6th (January 6th in the lunar calendar).
There hardly has been any married couple in human history who invested and accomplished so much within their lifetime, with a heart of love and sacrifice for the sake of humanity, while setting the Creator as the highest priority and point of reference in their lives.
We would like to give you the opportunity to offer a donation to the peace work of this exemplary and extraordinary couple, on the occasion of their birthdays celebrated on February 6th.
Father and Mother Moon’s extraordinary work and accomplishments for peace based on the simple philosophy of "Living for the Sake of Others" speaks volumes, as they founded more than 36 organizations and impacted millions. Therefore and for so many more reasons, WFWP USA is extending our heartfelt, passionate and thankful HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
What has made by far the greatest impact for peace is their vast and universal vision of One Global Family Under God, which has the real potential to create a peaceful global family, if practiced.
What inspires me the most is that they themselves have indeed lived by these tenets in the most dedicated and intensely committed way. They truly walked the walk. While going through decades of being misunderstood, persecuted and slandered, Father and Mother Moon exhibited, and extended to their adversaries, nothing less than a heart of love, compassion, and forgiveness, even to those who sought to destroy them.
Moreover, that did not deter them from being genuinely who they are, loving God and humanity, putting their lives on the line along the way, and pouring themselves out to all nations, peoples and cultures of the world. And God, our divine Creator, indeed blessed and multiplied their work thousandfold.

Very soon, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon's autobiography will be released during the World Summit which will be conducted in Seoul, Korea from February 2-7, 2020.

A word about Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, whom we also call the "Mother of Peace":
A mother who gave birth to 14 children, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon tirelessly worked for peace at her husband’s side and shared his intense schedule (not sleeping for more than three hours a night), and she continues on this path to this day.
Right after the passing of her beloved husband, on September 2, 2012, Mother Moon didn't let a moment pass, and immediately stepped up to continue to lead the worldwide movement, as Father Moon had requested of her before his passing. With the heart of a mother, she has since been touring the globe from north to south and east to west to spread the message of peace, holding countless gatherings for peace such as for government officials, scholars for the next generation, for women and women leaders and most of all for people of faith, in particular those of the Christian faith. It is because she feels that if Christianity is truly living out the essence of Christ’s message, there can be peace in the world. It is also on this Christian foundation that she and her husband began their ministry and work for peace.
Mother Moon’s key point in these gatherings is that we can’t resolve our current social ills by human effort alone, but it can only be resolved through the divine intervention of God.
Before the end of last year, Mother Moon completed a 6-week world tour that ended with the inauguration of the World Clergy Leadership Conference (WCLC) with clergy of all denominations who are committed to bringing about unity within the body of Christ and other faiths. And she is not planning to slow down any time soon!
