MESSAGE AND CALL FOR PRAYER FOR PEACE IN EUROPE
There are really no words to describe how anguished we feel over Russia's invasion of its neighboring nation Ukraine and the terrible losses, destruction, and pain inflicted on thousands of innocent citizens, including women and children.
We commend the Ukrainian citizens and leadership for standing strong in defending their nation and its freedom!
Our hearts also feel for the Russian people living in Russia and Ukraine who are deeply disturbed and outraged at the actions of their leadership, which inevitably will have painful ramifications for their own homeland in the near future.
We join in solidarity with WFWP leaders in Europe who are engaged in daily prayers and communication with one another and with members of our WFWP chapters in both Russia and Ukraine, toward deepening their bonds of unity and love for one another. (See Message on Ukraine from WFWP Europe below.)
Our Mother of Peace, always reminds us that: "Our current issues and conflicts cannot be solved by human effort alone. We need divine intervention from our Creator, the Heavenly Parent."
WFWP USA will be holding a special NATIONAL PRAYER CALL FOR HEALING AND PEACE BETWEEN UKRAINE AND RUSSIA this coming Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 1 pm EST.
We will continue our weekly prayer circle on Saturdays at 1:00 pm EST until the war is over.
Calling on women of faith, spirituality and conscience to join us in this prayer circle for peace, especially those Ukrainian and Russian mothers who live here in the United States.
