WFWP Arizona Honors Women Behind Project J.O.Y. at HerStory Award Program
On August 25, the Arizona chapter of the Women's Federation for World Peace (WFWP) hosted a special HerStory Award ceremony during the dinner reception of singer Marcelito Pomoy. The event was dedicated to recognizing the remarkable contributions of two women who have played pivotal roles in the success of Project J.O.Y., an organization dedicated to transforming healthcare and providing shelter for homeless families in the Philippines.

We have incredible advancements in technology. My children will never know the pain of dial-up internet or having to rewind VHS video tapes. They live in a world where access to information is akin to breathing. “Let’s ask Alexa” is how we handle all of life’s unanswered questions in our house. They are lucky in so many ways, and I know this foundation will help them to excel far beyond my generation. However, as much goodness as these advancements have brought us, they have also brought us an increasing amount of fear and danger.
Tea with the President/ Spotlight GWPN
On July 24, WFWP USA and WFWP Arizona co-hosted a virtual "Tea with the President" event. Initiated by an idea from Mrs. Glenda Lambert, GWPN Coordinator for Arizona, the purpose of this call was to hear from the President of WFWP USA, Mrs. Kaeleigh Moffitt, about the vision and direction of the Founders of WFWP, about GWPN, and about upcoming GWPN projects in which women leaders could get involved.

It is with a bittersweet feeling here at the WFWP Home Office that we say goodbye to Lani Owens, who has been serving as WFWP USA Administrative Assistant since April 2023. In this transition, we’re also pleased to announce the Administrator role will be taken over by Carie Arline!
Embracing Peace Beyond Diversity
Women's Federation in Pennsylvania launched its annual interfaith program titled "Embracing Peace Beyond Diversity." Taking place on June 29, the program promoted religious tolerance, understanding of diverse cultures, and religious harmony by embracing differences.
